Readily available in numerous forms, search the supermarket shelves for bargains tins can be found for as little as 25p.

Best for Barbel,Tench,Carp and Chub, fished on or near the bottom.

Use hooks size 14 or bigger.

Pops Tip:

When using luncheon meat you can help it stay on the hook better by cutting it into thickish slices then cook it in the micro-wave for a short time - start with 30 seconds and experiment using different cooking times, it needs to have a light skin on the edges.
Another trick is - after putting the meat on the hook, add a small piece rye grass, it also helps to keep the bait on.
