Another excellent all round float. Traditionally made from a cane stem with a cork body set up high up.This enables us to add the necessary weight to cope with deep powerful rivers, it also gives us better control in the more turbulent waters.
Can be used for a wide range of conditions but is most effective when there is a back or upstream wind.
Attaching Avon Floats
Fasten using 3 float rubbers(see yellow bands on picture.)
The bulk shot (5 to 8 Bb's ) attached approx... 2 ft.from the hook.
The tell tale shot ( No 4 or 6 ) approx... 8 inches from the hook.
