Useful Gadgets
Thousands are made some of them are necessary many prove to be no more than novelties made to catch anglers.
Here are a few that although not indispensable do make life easier for us.
Disgorger
A simple tool to help us remove the hook from a fish, plastic ones are the most common and are regularly given away with angling magazines.
Hook Tying Tool
Several versions of this handy tool are available, most work quite well and can save us a considerable amount of money.
That is not to say that ready tied ones are not good, most are but as far as I know we are unable to purchase them in singles.
Tying our own enables us to have a bigger variety of sizes - styles -colours - and also nice range of breaking strains and line colours.
Side Winder
A very usefully addition when feeder fishing.
Copes very well in windy conditions and bites are easy to spot.
Canvas mixing bowl
Saves valuable space and enables us to give our ground baits a thorough mixing.
