11 well stocked pools suitable for the pleasure and specimen
angler.Tremendous fishing some absolute monsters await you at
this venue, expensive at £18 per day, but if its big fish
you are after e.g.. 35 lb.. Carp - 90 lb.. Catfish and 12 lb..
Bream then this the No.1 spot for miles around.

Mill Road Lakes
Take the A52 to Skegness from Ingoldmills - Turn Right on to
Walls Lane - At the end of the lane turn Left into Mill Road -
The lakes are just down the road on the Left.
Two lakes providing top quality sport - depths vary from 4 to
6ft.
Tench - Carp - Perch - Rudd and Bream. Fish the margins with the
Waggler alternatively fish at 10 metres with the pole using small
amounts of ground bait.
Maggots - Casters and Sweet corn are the usual baits.
Specimen Carp require require specialised Carp fishing methods,
Boilies work well.

From Boston, take the A16 south and pick up the B1397 to
Wyberton
The specimen lake contains Carp to 30lbs. - Bream to 11lbs. -
Tench to 8lbs. As a bonus there are plenty of Roach, Rudd and
Perch. The small pool is a heavily stocked with Carp to 7lb and
small Tench.
Best baits:- Specimen pool ---- Boilies , Luncheon Meat and
Sweetcorn.
In the pleasure pool most baits will work.

Manderson Lakes
Take the A14 to Huntingdon - Turnoff to Swavesey - Go through
Swavesey towards Over - Take second left after the church on to
Overcote Rd. the lakes are about 1 mile down the road and are on
the Left.
This venue has has lots of lovely features and has been
specially re-designed to provide easy access for the disabled
angler, they can drive right up to any one of the 30 pegs,to set
up their tackle, they must however return the vehicle to the car
park before fishing.
The main lake is 100 metres long and about 2.5 metres deep.Meat
or sweet corn will tempt the numerous Carp which can be up to 25
lbs..
Roach, Rudd and Perch.are plentiful the favoured baits are
Casters and maggots.

Great Milton
Milton Pools
Junction 7 M40 - A329 towards Stadhampton 50yds on see sign
for the fishery on your Left.
Very picturesque with islands,rushes,bushes and trees. Four
lakes make up this complex, depth of water varies from 3ft. to
6ft. - The bottoms are silt covered - fish just on or slightly
off the bottom.Well stocked with Carp - Perch - Roach and Tench,
not to mention some huge Pike.

Gimingham Lakes
From Cromer take the B1159 and head east to Trimingham - Just
through the village turn Right to Gingingham - The fishery is
Opposite the church.
Super Tench venue with 3 lakes to choose from, the largest
seems to be the most popular,containing Carp to 20lbs. - Tench to
5lbs.
varies in depth from about 5ft. to 12f. Fish caster and worm over
a bed of sweet corn,pellets and casters for good results.

Scoulton Mere
From Hingham towards Watton on the B1108 to Scoulton, turn
right at the village hall into Mere Road. The fishery entrance is
a few hundred yards on the right.

Large estate lake 6 acres 4-5 feet deep fringed all the way
round with bushes and wild yellow irises and 6 large clumps of
lilies.
Species stocked:-Roach - Rudd - Tench - Bream - Perch and
Pike. Weights of best specimens include Pike up to 30lbs - Tench
and Bream up to 7lbs - Roach and Rudd to the 2lb mark plus some
very large Perch.

Haveringland Hall
Secreted away in over 120 acres of the
Haveringland Hall Estate with beautiful woodland walks, nature
trails and a 12 acre fishing lake. Voted one of his 15 favourite
fishing venues by John Wilson. The bream, tench, rudd and roach
are prevalent with some good specimen pike.

Travelling from Kings Lynn towards Swaffham on the A47 you will
come to the Carpenters Arms which is situated approximately six
miles from Kings Lynn. Turn off right into Common Road and follow
the road for 1.5 miles. Willowcroft Fishery is situated on the
left-hand-side.

Sink's Pit
From Ipswich take the A1214 towards Woodbridge. At the first
roundabout past Kesgrave High School turn left into the gravel
workings driveway. The lake and car parking are on the left at
the bottom of the hill.
2 acres, depths range from 17ft to 3 ft. Cover eg. trees
rushes etc.:- trees, rushes, lillies and weed beds
Weights of best specimens:-
6lb+ Tench, Carp to mid twenties, good head of roach to
2lb
Best Methods:-
Roach and rudd respond well to waggler with maggot or corn
hookbaits, carp and tench also respond to this method although
boilies and pellet work well ledgered to far margins and
features.

Lake John Fishery
From Waltham Abbey take the A121 - head East to the Crooked
mile roundabout - take the 2nd turning off towards Upshire - turn
left on to Galley Hill Rd. - about a mile down the road is Aimes
Green - turn left and follow the lane to the fishery.
Lower lake has 24 pegs and is well stocked with
Carp,Tench,Roach,Rudd,Bream,Perch and Chub.
Suitable for juniors and novice anglers - average depth 4ft.
The top lake is somewhat larger and the depth of water varies
from 5ft. at pegs 21 and 22 to 10ft. at pegs 32 and 33.
Catches of 50lbs. are not uncommon, plenty of good sized fish,
especially Carp and Tench.
Favoured baits are sweet corn and meat.

Priory Park Lake
Take the A127 into Southend and turn Right at Cuckoo Corner
Roundabout
The Car Park is Just down Victoria Avenue.
A One acre lake with a dividing island (used to be two lakes)
it is situated at the S.East corner of the park it has about 18
swims of about 4ft.deep.
You will be amazed at the wealth of fish including Large Carp -
Tench averaging 4lbs and Eels around 3lbs.
Good catches of Roach - Rudd - Perch and Crucians can also be
expected. To top it all there are some monster Pike. Most of the
usual bait apply ,the favoured ones are Bread - Worm - Cockles
and Sweet corn. Revert to maggots etc. if you want large catches
of small Roach and Rudd (or 2lbs. for the occasional larger
specimen)
