Take A128 towards Ashford and Hastings - At Tenderden turn Left on to B2080 towards Appledore - Through the traffic lights at the Military Canal - The drain is is on the Left - Tickets and parking are opposite the farm shop.

A typical marshland drain where a quiet exploration is required especially if Carp are the quarry
Pre-bait your fancied spot for Tench and Bream
Although only 2 to 3ft. deep it holds a good head of fish.
Carp to 30lbs.plus Bream and Tench of 3 to 5lbs.
Later in the season Pike fishing can produce some spectacular results.

Facilities :- Toilets and drinks are close by

Banned :- Barbed hooks - Boilies - Nuts and Night Fishing

E.Sussex

Groombridge

Birchden Lakes

Take the A624 from Tunbridge Wells and head for E.Grinstead.- Turn Left on to the B2110 - At Groombridge turn Left into Frant Road - Fishery 1/2 mile on the Left.

Four small lakes make up this complex, the top one being the largest.
Depth of water is about 6ft. in all four, and makes for good all year round fishing
All are well stocked and include Carp to 20lbs. - Bream to 5lbs. - Tench to 10lbs. - Perch to 4lbs. plus plenty of mid sized Roach and Rudd.
